Dr. Joshua Pessin is a board-certified general surgeon with Chicago roots and more than two decades of experience delivering comprehensive surgical and vascular care to both adult and pediatric patients. Before relocating to Arizona, Dr. Pessin built an impressive 15-year career in Wisconsin, where he held leadership roles including Chief of Surgery, Director of Robotic Surgery, and Director of the Vein and Vascular Center at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine. During that time, he earned recognition as a Master Surgeon in Robotics through the Surgical Review Corporation and was named a 2023 Castle Connolly Top Doctor in the Milwaukee region. He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College at Rush University Medical Center.

Dr. Pessin has developed expertise in the treatment of varicose vein disease as well as minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques, with a focus on complex hernia repair. His surgical practice spans a wide range of procedures, including robotic-assisted gallbladder, and hernia operations.

Now proudly joining the team at Sonoran Vein and Endovascular, Dr. Pessin looks forward to bringing that same depth of skill and patient-centered approach to the greater Phoenix community and is accepted by a wide range of insurance plans.

When he's not in the operating room, Dr. Pessin enjoys listening to live music and cherishes time outdoors alongside his wife and four daughters.
