Sonoran Vein and Endovascular is a leader in endovascular surgery, specializing in the treatment of varicose veins, spider veins and minimally invasive outpatient endovascular surgery in Phoenix. Our team of experts is dedicated to providing groundbreaking endovascular surgical technologies and techniques with the highest quality care to treat varicose and spider veins. Dr. Nye and his team offers comprehensive care for all of your vascular needs.
Endovascular surgery is an innovative, less invasive procedure used to treat problems affecting the blood vessels, such as an aneurysm, which is a swelling or “ballooning” of the blood vessel. An alternative to open surgery, endovascular surgery offers many advantages, including a shorter recovery period, less discomfort, local or regional anesthesia instead of general anesthesia, smaller incisions, less stress on the heart and fewer risks for patients with other medical conditions. This procedure may be used to treat varicose veins and peripheral arterial disease (PAD), renal artery disease, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), mesenteric artery disease, aneurysm disease, lower extremity wound care, and other vascular complications.
As a full service practice, Sonoran Vein and Endovascular excels at providing state-of-the-art healthcare services including sclerotherapy, preventive care, diagnostic expertise, and minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of both venous and arterial disorders. Our compassion driven staff is committed to providing you with quality medical care and courteous service.
Deep Vein Thrombosis
Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a condition in which a blood clot forms in a vein deep inside the body, usually in the legs. It can cause swelling, pain, and redness in the affected area.
Peripheral Arterial Disease
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a condition in which the arteries that carry blood to the limbs become narrowed or blocked due to a buildup of plaque. This can lead to decreased blood flow to the affected limb, causing symptoms such as pain, numbness, and weakness.
Wound Care
Wound care service provided by Sonoran Vein and Endovascular specializes in the treatment of chronic wounds that are related to venous or arterial diseases.
Limb Preservation
A specialized medical service that focuses on preventing the amputation of a limb that is at risk due to various medical conditions, such as peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot ulcers, and traumatic injuries.
Varicose Veins
Varicose veins are enlarged and twisted veins that commonly occur in the legs. They can cause discomfort, aching, and swelling in the legs, and in some cases, they can lead to more serious complications such as skin ulcers or blood clots.
Spider Veins
Spider veins, also known as telangiectasias, are small, dilated blood vessels that appear near the surface of the skin. They often resemble spider webs or tree branches and are commonly found on the legs and face.
Lymphedema
Lymphedema is a condition characterized by swelling in a limb or other part of the body due to an accumulation of lymphatic fluid. Symptoms include swelling, discomfort, and decreased range of motion in the affected area.
Ultrasound Center
certified vascular ultrasound technicians and experienced vein specialists who use ultrasound imaging to visualize the blood flow in the veins and identify any abnormalities, such as blood clots or venous reflux.
Aneurysms
A bulge or ballooning in the wall of a blood vessel, usually an artery. It can occur in various parts of the body, such as the brain, aorta, or abdomen.
