Dr Dawn Olsen is a Vascular Surgeon who has devoted herself to caring for those with both arterial and venous disease. She epitomizes excellence in vascular care. She is committed to her patients and achieving their best outcome. Her knowledge, skill, and genuine empathy is what brings patients from all over Arizona.

Initially, she became a vascular Physician Assistant (PA) at the world-recognized Arizona Heart Hospital under the tutelage of renowned surgeon, Dr. Edward B. Diethrich. It was during this time that her passion for vascular surgery grew. Realizing her dedication to vascular medicine, she pursued medical school at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a rigorous 5-year Vascular Surgery residency at the University at Buffalo. She is board-certified in vascular surgery, offering patients both open and endovascular venous and arterial surgery. She is also certified in non-invasive vascular ultrasound and wound management.

Dr. Olsen’s twenty plus years of experience shows her commitment to the growth and transformation of vascular surgery. She has nearly 30 publications and has presented here in the States as well as abroad. She is trained in the endovascular management of thoracic and abdominal aortic pathologies, as well as carotid disease and lower extremity interventions for limb salvage. She is well-versed in all aspects of venous disease including treatment of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and varicose veins. Dr Olsen calls the Valley of the Sun her home. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband and two daughters.
